Hi everybody, we're returning to Pearl River Wed, Sep 14 & I'm looking forward to seeing everyone & trading notes on how God is working in your lives.  As far as Northshore Church goes, it's God's church and the church is the people and God uses people to help each other, right?  So I'm sad about the damage where we used to worship & maybe we can salvage some items but God is greater than ALL OF THIS.

Hello and god bless all. 

My brother in-law will be arriving from Maine late Saturday or early Sunday and bringing clothing and other items of need.  If anyone is in need of anything at all please let myself (Dan Strom) or Robin know so we can see what we can find. 

We have room for a couple of people if needed .  Power is back on and no water entered except for the new sky light over the garage from a nice big pine.

Also,

1.  My brother Dave in Jacksonville has an extra room he is offered for a couple or single person to stay as long as they need.

2.  My In laws also have room for a family in Maine at their cabin.  Room for at least 8 if needed.  Beautiful this time of year.  The school district has welcomed any kids.  

Danielle and Tyler will be heading to Maine on Monday and will begin school there next week.  Looks like they will get to see the fall color.  Plan now is to have them meet us in Gattlinburg TN for Thanksgiving with both mine and Robin's family and then return back here. Tyler is looking forward to the trip, but Danielle is very sad about having to break up her Senior year.  We prayed about it and feel this is this best solution for them.  Robin's school (William Carey) Nursing is  up in the air, but will be working still at SMH.  I'm already busy cleaning out homes and installing new sheetrock.

Hi Everyone,

This is Michael Rice, the oldest son of David and Suzie.  I'm writing from San Marcos, TX, where I'm finishing up my last year of college.  We have had sevaral survivors relocate to our town, and especially to Austin and San Antonio (both about 30 miles away).  Our youth ministry here at Texas State, Campus Crusade for Christ is doing what it can to help the people within reach.  We'd like to do a trip to New Orleans/Slidell when the time comes, and hopefully we can partner up with Northshore. 

My parents are in Cincinnatti.  They do not have internet hooked up yet (might be another week or so) but are using me to get them messages.  They've tried many times to call but have had limited luck, as many of you probably know.  But they are praying and thinking of you constantly--all day, every day.  That much I know for certain.  If anyone would like to get a message to them you might try emailing me at michaelwrice@gmail.com or you can call their new number: (513) 779-1969. 

I hope everyone who reads this is hanging in there and remembering that everything, no matter how big or small, wonderful or catastrophic, has a reason.
